Case Study

Irvinestown

The design

The design incorporated traditionally styled products - Manor Stone flagstones and Country Cobble paving - alongside modern products - Regal Stone walling - to create a fusion between old and new; just like the dwelling itself.

The 'Blackwater' coloured Manor Stone flags incorporate both the grey tones of the external cladding at the rear, and the colour tones of the floor tiles used inside the extension. When the bi-folding doors are open, there is a virtually seamless connection from the inside to the outside.

Used 'Basalt' coloured Regal Stone retaining walls to effectively address the change in heights from the outside room area to the rear garden and decking. The outside room is still visually and physically linked to the existing decked area by creating a curved path.
